KEEP UP TO DATE
CONTINUED SCHOOL CLOSURE DUE TO COVID 19
Dear Parents, Guardians and Pupils,
I hope that everyone is safe and well. In these unprecedented times, we are all learning how best to cope with the numerous challenges that we are faced with. The greatest priority for us all now, is to stay safe and healthy. To do this, we must ensure to abide by the advice of the medical experts in how best to tackle Covid-19. We must ensure that everyone exercises social distancing and uses good hygiene practices.
Today we are sharing work plans on our website that we hope will be helpful to your daughter(s) over the next week. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and we recognise that there are lots of different stresses for people at the moment. Therefore, we do not want these work plans to add any additional tension or pressure. Normal teaching practices cannot be sustained at this time. You, as parents/guardians, know what works best for your child at home. We don’t expect all work to be completed. Children work at varying rates so please make a decision on what your child is able for and what is best for her. We are also aware that not all children have access to the devices or textbooks that are needed to access all the suggested activities, so I’d like to reiterate that there is no pressure on any child to complete everything.
We would love to feel that the children are getting some enjoyment out of this work and we hope that it helps them to maintain some form of daily routine during this time. Perhaps you might share with us a picture of the ‘home classrooms’ where the children are working from at the moment! Feel free to email them to your daughter’s class teacher – email addresses have been included within the work plans.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me through email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any queries.
Very best wishes to everyone, stay safe and healthy,
Principal St. Ursula’s.

Welcome to our school website! I hope this site gives an opportunity for you to experience the wonderful atmosphere that is present in our school.
In St. Ursula’s our aim is to provide a learning environment that is caring, inclusive, welcoming and fun! We have a very dedicated staff who are committed to the welfare of our pupils. Our school is a happy place where the girls are encouraged to do their best and reach their full potential. Student well-being is extremely important to us.
The Ursuline ethos, inspired by St. Angela ‘To inspire others to reach their potential while treating everyone with dignity and respect’ is lived out in our school on a daily basis.
St. Ursula’s is a Catholic school which aims to nurture and cherish the uniqueness of each individual and develop her full potential, while respecting the religion and culture of all.
As an Ursuline School, St. Ursula's strives to foster a school community where Christian values are lived and taught. Accordingly, religious instruction, liturgical services and prayer are part of the daily life of the school. The school offers opportunities for open communication so that both parents and school can work together to ensure the holistic development of the child.
The children are encouraged to be active participants in their own learning and to develop the talents and gifts unique to each one. The school prides itself on its focus on the individual pupil and specialist staff provide learning support for pupils with specific learning difficulties. The more gifted pupils are equally encouraged to ensure they reach their full potential.
The school encourages the children to show respect at all times, for themselves and others and for the environment and to be active members of the school community. Talent and achievement are celebrated at weekly Assembly.
