On Monday morning we held a memorial service in honour of our past pupil Sophie Howard. We planted a tree in memory of Sophie in the school garden. Sophie's sister Holly, and all the girls in her class, released purple and pink balloons in memory of Sophie. These were Sophie's favourite colours. 💜
The Sensory Room will be renamed in honour of Sophie and will be called 'Sophie's Space' and a new plaque will be hung outside the Sensory Room. The sign for the Sensory Room was designed by Holly and Miss Dillon.
Sophie touched the hearts of so many when she was here with us in St. Ursula's, and she will always be very fondly remembered.
