We were delighted to welcome Mayor Jody Power to our school. The Mayor presented attendance certificates to our girls who had outstanding attendance last school year. He acknowledged our great achievements in STEM subjects and presented the Student Council with our Gold Award in the ‘Curious Minds’ project (formerly Discover Primary Science). The Mayor met with our u10s Gaelic football team, our u12s Camogie team and also our bronze medal winner Joni Power Hayes who recently competed in the World Kick-boxing Championships in Munich. Mayor Power was delighted to acknowledge our 4 prize winners in the Credit Union competition and he gave all students a night off homework!!
